Bu Hamd ve Senadan Sonra Resulullah’a Salat ve Selam İle İlgili Duası

Ve hamd Allah’a ki, ne kadar büyük olursa olsun hiçbir şey karşısında âciz kalmayan ve ne kadar ince ve zarif olursa olsun hiçbir şeyi gözden kaçırmayan kudretiyle, peygamberi Muhammed -Allah’ın salatı ona ve soyuna olsun- ile eski ümmetlere ve geçmiş asırlara değil, bize minnet koydu; böylece bizi ümmetlerin sonuncusu kıldı; inkârcılara karşı bizi tanıklar yaptı ve nimetiyle, az olanlar karşısında sayımızı çoğalttı.

Allah’ım, o halde vahyinin emini, yaratıklarının seçkini, kullarının arasından seçip beğendiğin, rahmet imamı, hayır önderi ve bereket anahtarı olan Muhammed’e salat eyle (derecesini yücelt); nasıl ki o kendini senin işin için adadı; bedenini senin uğruna eziyetlere maruz bıraktı; (insanları) sana doğru çağırırken yakınlarıyla açıkça çelişti; senin rızan uğruna kabilesiyle savaştı; dinini ihya etmek için akrabalarıyla ilişkisini kesti; inkâr ettikleri için yakın olanları uzaklaştırdı; sana icabet ettikleri için uzak olanları yakınlaştırdı; senin yolunda en uzak kimseleri dost edindi; en yakın kimselere düşman kesildi; elçiliğini iletmek için kendini yordu; (insanları) dinine davet etmekle kendini nice zahmetlere soktu; uğraşı, davetine muhatap olanları öğütlemek oldu; dinini aziz kılmak, güçlendirmek ve sana karşı küfre sapanlara galebe çalmak amacıyla gurbet diyarlarına; doğup büyüdüğü, yakınlarının bulunduğu, taşını, toprağını tanıdığı vatanından uzak yerlere göç etti (Medine’ye hicret); ve nihayet, düşmanlara karşı elde etmek istediği başarıyı, dostların için öngördüğü sonucu tastamam elde etti. Senden medet umarak, güçsüz olduğu halde senin yardımınla güç kazanarak düşmanlarının üzerine yürüdü; evlerinin  içinde onlarla savaştı; karargâhlarının tam ortasında onlara saldırdı. Derken, müşriklerin istememesine rağmen senin dinin aşikâr oldu, kelimen yüceldi.

Allah’ım, senin yolunda çekmiş olduğu zahmetler karşısında O’nu cennetinin en yüce derecesine yükselt. Öyle ki, derece bakımından kimse onunla eşit olmasın; makam bakımından kimse ona denk olmasın; katında hiçbir mukarreb melek ve hiçbir mürsel peygamber onunla boy ölçüşemesin. Ve onu, tertemiz Ehl-i Beyti ve mü’min ümmeti hakkında kendisine vaad ettiğin güzel (kabul edilen) şefaatin en yüce mertebesiyle tanıştır. Ey vaadi geçerli olan, sözüne vefa eden; ey kötülükleri kat kat fazlasıyla iyiliklere dönüştüren (yüce Allah)! Hiç kuşkusuz, sen büyük lütuf sahibisin.

One of his prayers after praising God was to invoke Divine Blessings upon the Messenger of God and his descendants

Praise be to God, who favored us with Muhammad, may the peace and mercy of God be upon him and his descendants, in preference to the past nations and bygone centuries, with His Power which fails in nothing, however great, and from which nothing escapes, however small it be.
 

So He made us the final ones among all His creatures and appointed us witnesses against those who denied Him. By His Grace, He multiplied us over those that were few.
 

Therefore O God, bless Muhammad and the descendants of Muhammad, the trustee of Your Inspiration, the elect of Your creatures, the chosen one from Your servants, the master of grace, the leader of goodness, the key of affluence, as he dedicated himself to Your work, Laid down his body to suffer calling (them) towards Yourself, Fought for Your satisfaction against his tribe, Cut-off relations with blood relations to revive Your religion, Drove away those that were near (in relation) on account of their denial of You. He made friends with strangers for Your sake and grew hostile to those that were near.
 

He let himself suffer in proclaiming Your message, vigorously exerted himself in inviting others to Your religion and employed himself in advising those worthy of Your Call. He migrated to a strange city, distant from the place of his abode, the ground trodden by his feet, the place of his birth and the place to which his feelings were attached, intending, thereby, the exaltation of Your religion, and seeking assistance against the infidels till what he designed concerning Your enemies was accomplished for him; and what he planned for Your friends was also achieved. Then, he arose against them, seeking victory with Your Assistance; strengthened, in spite of his weakness, by Your Help. He fought them in their very homes and overwhelmed them in the midst of their abode till Your Command was proclaimed and Your Word was exalted, adverse though the multi-theists were.
 

Therefore, exalt him, O Lord, to the highest rank in Your Paradise for his exertions in Your Cause, so that his position may not be equaled, his prestige may not be rivaled and no angel nigh to Yourself and no Apostle sent by Yourself, may equal him in Your Sight. And fulfill the promise of effective intercession in greater degree than what Thou hast promised regarding the sacred members of his descendants and his true-believing followers. O conformer to promises! O Fulfiller of (Your ) Word!
 

O Changer of evil into a great deal more of good, verily Thou art the Great Bestower of Favors and Thou art the Generous, the Bountiful.

وَكانَ مِنْ دُعائِهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ بَعْدَ هذَا التَّحْميدِ فِي الصَّلوةِ عَلى رَسُولِ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذي مَنَّ عَلَيْنا بِمُحَمَّد نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيهِ وَآلِهِ دُونَ الاُْمَمِ الْماضِيَةِ وَالْقُرُونِ السّالِفَّةِ، بِقُدْرَتِهِ الَّتي لا تَعْجِزُ عَنْ شَىْء وَإِنْ عَظُمَ، وَلا يَفُوتُها شَىْءٌ وَإِنْ لَطُفَ، فَخَتَمَ بِنا عَلى جَميعِ مَنْ ذَرَأَ، وَجَعَلَنا شُهَداءَ عَلى مَنْ جَحَدَ، وَكَثَّرَنا بِمَنِّهِ عَلى مَنْ قَلَّ.

أَللّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد أَمينِكَ عَلى وَحْيِكَ، وَنَجيبِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَصَفِيِّكَ مِنْ عِبادِكَ، وإِمامِ الرَّحْمَةِ، وَقائِدِ الْخَيْرِ، وَمِفْتاحِ الْبَرَكَةِ، كَما نَصَبَ لاَِمْرِكَ نَفْسَه، وَعرَّضَ فيكَ لِلْمَكْرُوهِ بَدَنَهُ، وَكاشَفَ فِي الدُّعاءِ إِلَيْكَ حامَّتَهُ، وَحارَبَ في رِضاكَ أُسْرَتَهُ، وَقَطَعَ في إِحْياءِ دينِكَ رَحِمَهُ، وَأَقْصَى الاْدْنَيْنَ عَلى جُحُودِهِمْ، وَقرَّبَ الاَْقْصَيْنَ عَلَى اسْتِجابَتِهِمْ لَكَ، وَوالى فيكَ الاَْبْعَدينَ، وَعادى فِيكَ الاَْقْرَبينَ، وَأَدْأَبَ نَفْسَهُ في تَبْليغِ

رِسالَتِكَ، وَأَتْعَبَها بِالدُّعاءِ إِلى مِلَّتِكَ، وَشَغَلَها بِالنُّصْحِ لاَِهْلِ دَعْوَتِكَ، وَهاجَرَ إِلى بِلادِ الْغُرْبَةِ، وَمَحَلِّ النَّأْيِ عَنْ مَوْطِنِ رَحْلِهِ، وَمَوضِعِ رِجْلِه، وَمَسْقَطِ رَأْسِهِ، وَمَأْنَسِ نَفْسِهِ إِرادَةً مِنْهُ لاِِعْزازِ دينِكَ، وَاسْتِنْصاراً عَلى أَهْلِ الْكُفْرِ بِكَ، حَتَّى اسْتَتَبَّ لَهُ ما حاوَلَ في أَعْدائِكَ، وَاسْتَتَمَّ لَهُ مادَبَّرَ في أَوْلِيائِكَ، فَنَهَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ مُسْتَفْتِحاً بِعَوْنِكَ، وَمُتَقَوِّياً عَلى ضَعْفِهِ بِنَصْرِكَ، فَغَزاهُمْ في عُقْرِ دِيارِهِمْ، وَهَجَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ في بُحْبُوحَةِ قَرارِهِمْ، حَتّى ظهَرَ أَمْرُكَ، وَعَلَتْ كَـلِمَتُكَ، وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ.

أَللّهُمَّ فَارْفَعْهُ بِما كَدَحَ فيكَ إِلَى الدَّرَجَةِ الْعُلْيا مِنْ جَنَّتِكَ، حَتّى لا يُساوى في مَنْزِلَة، وَلا يُكـافَأَ في مَـرْتَبَة، وَلا يُـوازِيَهُ لَدَيْكَ مَـلَكٌ مُقَـرَّبٌ، وَلا نَبِـىٌّ مُـرْسَلٌ، وَ عَـرِّفْهُ في أَهْلِهِ الطّاهِرينَ، وَاُمَّتِهِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ، مِنْ حُسْنِ الشَّفاعَةِ أَجَلَّ ما وَعَدْتَهُ، يا نافِذَ الْعِدَةِ، يا وافِىَ الْقَوْلِ، يا مُبَدِّلَ السَّيِّئاتِ بِأَضْعافِها مِنَ الْحَسناتِ، إِنَّكَ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظيمِ.
